Campground Rules and Policies

The Speed limit within the park is 5mph

• Check Out: 12pm

• QUIET HOURS: 10:00 pm to 8:00 am

• The age requirement to camp is 21 years of age. All Campers on site must meet this requirement. If not, must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.

• All buildings are smoke free.

• Garbage pick: All trash must be bagged and placed out by your site number post for camp staff to pick up, they will not enter your site to grab any trash. Last garbage pick up time will be at 6:00 pm.

• NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD – To help stop the spread of invasive species and diseases in our area we will be enforcing a strict no outside firewood policy in our campground, unless you have a USDA stamped bundle or can prove you bought it locally you will not be able to unload any firewood. Our campground has already seen the Oak Wilt and the re-named Spongy Moth. Help keep Michigan beautiful and stop the spread of these species, Buy your firewood locally at or around the campgrounds you plan to visit.

• BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL of your neighbors. Follow all designated road and walkways. Do not cut through campsites.

• Camping is a fun activity for all ages, and we strive to ensure this at our campground. We have a ZERO tolerate policy for any DRUG OR ALCOHOL induced problems here at Fox Run Family Campground. If you or your visitors create issues with your neighbors and therefore with the campground, you will evicted from your campsite and forfeit all fees you paid on your reservation. Authorities may be called if necessary to remove you from the campground premises.

• No more than two vehicles per campsite, there are extra parking spots around the campground for guest vehicles. Visitors may park in designated parking if there is already two vehicles on your campsite.

• Each campsite is designed for (1) One camper or (1) One Tent and two vehicles. Please inquire with the Camp host about any accommodations needed for toy haulers or tents that you wish to have on your site, and additional charge may be added to your site cost. 

• All visitors must leave the park by 10:00 pm. Registered campers will be held responsible for their visitors behavior while in our park, any negative actions may result in your immediate eviction.

• Personal ATV’s and other trail riding utility vehicles are allowed in the campground to access your campsite on designated roadways ONLY. ALL riding must be done on the trails, we are 2 miles from the trail head, maps are available at the office or on various Trail apps.

• Children under the age 15 will not be allowed to roam the campground after 10 pm. Registered guests are responsible for their children and visiting children at all times. Any damage or negative actions by children under your supervision during your stay my result in financial costs for repairs and/or your immediate eviction.

• Leave No Trace, Only Memories! Do not disturb the natural beauty of our campground or the surrounding areas, including carvings, inserting nails or hanging lanterns in trees. Do not cut, destroy or damage any living vegetation.

• Dishes and/or Clothes washing at water stations and in bathrooms is prohibited. Only temporary clothes lines are permitted. Please remove clothes lines when you depart.

• All waste water and Grey water must be dumped at designated waste stations.

• For everyone’s safety we do not allow firearms, air guns, bow & arrows, slingshots or fireworks.

• There is NO hunting in the campground

• There is NO working on your RV, Camper or Personal Vehicles in the campground. We have businesses in the surrounding areas that will gladly assist you in any repairs you need. Our campground is not your personal yard or garage, many things can go wrong when you start a project on your vehicles and spills and lost items require extensive clean-up as we are here to preserve nature. If any extensive cleaning is needed by campground staff post your departure do to leaks and chemicals additional charges may be billed to your reservation and charged to the card on file.

• Your camper or vehicle may not be towed into the campground, as stated above we are here to preserve nature and enjoy the beauty of it, we are not your personal yard or garage.

• Camp fires are restricted to the site designated campfire ring. No large fires or bonfires (outside the ring). Fires must be attended at all times and doused before turning in for the night. Do not burn garbage, bottles or cans.

• Bottles and cans can be taken to the camp store as a donation for our holiday weekend activities. Please ensure no garbage is in your bottle bags, clean bottles and cans are appreciated.

• Clean up after yourself when using public areas – playground, bathhouse, etc.

• Upon your departure from the park, all campers must leave the campsite free from trash, debris and personal belongings, fire pits are emptied by camp staff (please do not try and empty it yourself)

• The Management reserves the right to evict anyone for behavior found to be detrimental to the campground.

• All Holiday weekends require a 3 night minimum stay.


 

Cancellation Policy

• Full payment is due at the time or reservation.

• Cancellations made 7 days prior to your arrival date will be refunded to the credit card given at the time the reservation was made less a $10 cancellation fee. Reservations canceled within 7 days of your arrival date are non-refundable.

• Holiday Weekend reservations must be canceled 14 days prior to your arrival date to receive a refund less a $10 cancellation fee. Reservations canceled within 14 days or arrival date are nonrefundable.

• Holiday reservations may not be changed or moved within 14 days of your arrival date.

• Reservations not checked in by 9pm the day of your scheduled arrival must have given a verbal notice of late arrival or will be released without refund.

• Camping is an outdoor experience and refunds will NOT be given due to the forces and discomforts of nature. We are located off the highway on a hillside and our campsites are gravel/dirt. The sites are not guaranteed to be level by any means.

• Force of Nature: Fox Run Family Campground will no be liable for any change or cancellation of any reservation that is caused, in whole or in part, by events, occurrences, or causes include, without limitation, acts of god, pandemics, terrorist activities, weather, strikes, power outage, lockouts, riots, acts of war, earthquake, fire and explosions.


 

Pet Policy

All pets are welcome under the following conditions:

• GOOD BEHAVIOR IS REQUIRED. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners.

• BRING THE LEASH. Dogs must be kept on a 6 foot leash when outside their owners vehicle, camper, tent or rental unit.

• DO NOT leave a tethered dog unattended. Please clean up after your pet on your campsite and other areas of the campground.

• REMEMBER MANNERS. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you’ll need to find other accommodations.

• PET WASTE must be immediately picked up and disposed of properly.
